Renegades is a great dystopian novel for lovers of The Hunger Games and Divergent. The book is the first of a trilogy by Marissa Meyer and features everything from a rundown society to a government run by people with unique well....superpowers. This book is easily one of my favorites and I would recommend it to any one who is looking for a thrilling dystopian type novel. This is definitely one of those books that is hard to put down but luckily there are two other equally thrilling follow ups. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because it was such a page-turner and the plot twists were cleverly deceptive.
***Just a quick warning I want to put out there, this series does contain some romance but for those of us who would prefer for it to not contain romance, you’re in luck as it is not a lot just hints.***
